INDUSTRIAL METALLURGY (PG)
In METALLURGY – It is a subject dealing with the production, quality control, and experiment study of metals, specific activities of the industrial metallurgist is in photoengraving metal samples with a photo microscope, developing and mounting photomicrographs, examining samples with x-ray, gamma rays and other inspection equipment to detect internal fractures, impurities and other defects and testing samples in pressure devices to determine hardness, elasticity, toughness and other properties of metals.

METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING (DEG)
Metallurgical engineers develop new types of metal and other material which meet special requirements. Most metallurgical engineers work in one of the three main branches of meturgy- extraction or chemical, physical and mechanical.

Sheet metal workers work in a factory where sheet metal is the prime raw material.They cut the metal sheet to proper size and press it for the required shape or pattern.They also polish the products of sheet metal, weld when necessary.
