Master in Science – Radiation Physics ( Msc Radiation Physics)
[one_half][ads1][/one_half]With increasing reliance on modern technology in medicine there is growing need for specialists trained in the physical sciences. Rapid advances in diagnostic technique, such as MRI and PET, offer new views of human physiology and new approaches to the treatment of disease. Medical physics is a highly multidisciplinary subject offering an exciting career with the additional satisfaction of contributing directly to patient treatment and care. Medical physicists apply physics and technical skills to the practice of medicine to help prevent, diagnose and treat many kinds of diseases and health conditions. They develop, test and evaluate specialist equipment and procedures in many areas including radiotherapy, nuclear medicine, laser technology and physiological monitoring.
