[one_half][ads1][/one_half]MPH is inter disciplinary program that prepares the candidates to become leading public health professionals who are capable of addressing the current global public health issues through multi disciplinary approaches and latest scientific knowledge. The candidates acquire the fundamental public health skills (bio-statistics, epidemiology, social and behavior sciences, environment & occupational health system & policy management). Apart from the fundamental core courses, students can study subjects like maternal l& child health, health education, demography etc., those are necessary for over all development of health of the nation.

Master in Public Health  Eligibility

Candidates should have any health sciences related bachelor’s Degree (M B B S, B D S, B H M S, BUMS, B A M S, B P T, B.Pharma or from any B.Sc in allied health science) form any recognized university established under law considered equivalently by R G U H S with minimum of 50% pass percentage.

Academic Year Commencement

August – September.

Course Duration

4 yrs (4 semesters).

Scope

MPH broadens the scope of opportunities for health professionals. MPH graduates can get placements in multilateral and bilateral organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, Red cross, U S A I D. Government jobs at middle and higher level positions in both Central & State Governments. International & National Non Government Organization, Hospitals, Cooperate Companies & Academic institutions etc.
