AREA STUDIES (DEG / PG)

A program of study and research that focuses on a specific section of world.Area studies integrate various disciplines of economics, sociology, anthropology, political science, geography, literature, psychology, biology, zoology and other fields into an investigation of past, present and future of a particular geographical area of the world .Eg.Middle East Studies, Far East Studies, South East Asia and India.Area studies is an example of interdisciplinary research and study of both theoretical and practical level.
