AGRO BASED INDUSTRIES (DEG)

ECONOMIC Industries based on agricultural raw material for example processed food, starch,edible oil textiles, dairy etc.

BUSINESS ECONOMICS (DEG/PG)

Business economics is to compile and interpret statistical data regarding the production of goods and services. Their work is hand in hand with managers and marketing specialists.

ECONOMERICS (PG/PGDIP)

The statistical  and mathematical analysis of economic relationships.

ECONOMIC ANALYSIS & POLITICS (PG)

Keeping and developing the nations economic accounts that is the national income and product accounts summarized by gross national product (GNP) which show the business and other components of national wealth, the input-output accounts which trace the interrelationship among industrial markets, personl income and related economic series  by geographic area the balance of payments accounts and audited foreign investment accounts and measures relating to environmental change within the framework of all these accounts.

ECONOMICS (DEG/PG/M PHIL/PhD)

The science dealing with the production distribution and consumption of goods and services or the material welfare of humankind. The study of the creation and distribution of wealth the behaviour of price and of the forces that determine national income and employment.

HOME ECONOMICS (DEG)

Home economics covers a range of subjects from nutrition food preparation  and meal planning to economics and the psychology of family relations .home economists improve and help others to improve products services and practices that affect the comfort and well being of the home and family.

PUBLIC ENTERPRISE (PG/PGDIP)

The term public enterprise denotes an organisation operating on commercial principles, wholly or partly owned and effectively controlled by a public Authority.

RURAL DEVELOPMENT (CER/DIP/DEG/PG/PGDIP)

Refers to the basic development of rural regions in either underdeveloped countries or in deprived areas of more developed countries employing improvement in the standard of living and the active participation of local population-in the programs set up.

RURAL ECONOMICS (PG)

The specific study of the production distribution and consumption of wealth pertaining to rural areas.

RURAL INDUSTRIALIZATION (DEG)

identifying the type of industry that can grow attracting industrialists and developing the industry. it also involves the planning of industrial areas, development of human skills raising  the standard of living etc.

ECONOMETRICS (PG / PG DIP)

The statistical and mathematical analysis of economic relationships.It includes application of econometric methods to the anlalysis of demand production and supply to the distribution of income & wealth to construction of models of entire economy for use in economic forecasting.

ECONOMIC ANALYSIS & POLITICS (PG)

MICRO – LEVEL PLANNING (PGDIP)

The study of economics at the level of individual consumers, groups of consumers or firms.

RURAL DEVELOPMENT (DIP / DEG / PG / PGDIP / Ph.D)

They are concerned with transportation of raw materials and finished goods at lowest possible cost.They check the cost of transporting through various modes and routes.
