ACTING (CER / DIP / DEG)

Fine Arts Actors entertain and communicate with people through their interpretation of dramatic roles.They rely on facial and verbal expressions as well as body motions or movement for creative effect. Acting requires persistence’s, practice and handwork as well as special talent.

AESTHETICS (PG)

The study of beauty.It has also been defined as science of beauty, suggesting an organized body of knowledge of special matter.It is generally concerned with general or theoretical studies of beauty in works of art, with the effort to understand,explain, and evaluate them.

ARTS & FINE ARTS (DEG / PG)

Ordered arrangements of the arts (literature, music, visual arts, dance and others) whereby each is viewed according to its uniqueness or its similarity to other arts.

COMMERCIAL ARTS  (DIP / DEG / PG)

Used in advertising.Refers to graphic design, illustration etc. used to promote and familiarize a product.

DRAWING & PAINTING (DEG / PG)

Painters use watercolors, oils, acrylics and other substances to paint a variety of subjects, including landscapes, peoples and objects.

FOLK ARTS (DEG)

Arts pertaining to people of specalised group or class mainly called as carrier of cultures.

FOLKLORE (DEG / PG)

Anthoplogists use the folklore to mean unwritten literature or traditional narrative as expressed in folktales, proverbs, riddles songs, prayers and the like.The term is also used to designate an anthropological discipline which studies such material in the same way that an ethnographic data is treated.

GRAPHIC ARTS (DEG)

The fine and applied arts of representation, decoration and writing or printing on flat surfaces together with techniques and crafts associated with each, includes painting, drawing, engraving, etching,lithography, photography and printing arts.Graphic artists put their artistic skills and vision at the service of commercial clients, such as major corporations, retail stores, advertising firms and production companies.

MUSEOLOGY (PG / PGDIP)

The science of practice of organizing and managing of museums.

PAINTING (FINE ARTS) (DEG / DIP)

Painters create art to satisfy one own inner need for self expression and also display the work in museums, art galleries and homes.

SCULPTURE  (DEG / PG)

The art of carving and designing even three dimensional effect in stone, metal, wood, a block of plastic etc.The person who designs such things is known as sculptor.Some sculptors use clay also to design things and some make a combination of all the materials to make a design.

COMMERCIAL PAINTING (DIP)

The action of paint.The result or product of applying paint, coloring, pictorial decoration or representation for commercial purpose.

WOOD TECHNOLOGY (DIP)

Refers to the training in wood technology received to test wood related materials and equipment such as kilns and saw mill machinery.They often work for plumbing companies.
