ACADEMIC LAWS (DEG)
Laws pertaining to college university or school laws pertaining to institutions of learning.
CRIMINAL LAW (DIP/PG)
Refers to state and central statutes that define criminal offences and specify corresponding fines and punishment statutes imposing a penalty. fine or punishment for certain offences of a public nature or wrongs committed against the state.
GENERAL LAW (DEG)
A law that affects the community at large. A general law is a law that embraces a class of subjects or place naturally belonging to class. A law that relates to a subject of general nature or that affects all people of state or all of a particular class.
INDIAN CONSTITUTIONAL LAW (DIP)
That branch of the public law of India which govern the organisation powers and frame of the government.The distribution of political and governmental authorities and functions the fundamental principles which are to regulate the relations of government and citizen and which prescribes generally the plan and method according to which public affairs of the nation or state are to be administered.
INSURANCE LAW (DIP)
A contract whereby for a stipulated consideration one party undertakes to compensate the other for loss on a specified subject by specified terms.
LABOR LAW (DIP)
A general term for legislation that partly or wholly relates to matters of employment and the activities of employers and workers in relation to one another.

LAW (DEG/PG)

A profession which constitutes the art of debating, interpreting and sorting out various matters of dispute, difference of opinion, etc.
MANAGEMENT LAW (DIP)
Laws pertaining to management or organisation which pertains to factors of production and distribution of goods, as well as laws pertaining to human labor.
MERCANTILE LAW (DIP/DEG/PG)
An expression substantially equivalent to commercial law or designates the system of rules customs and wages generally recognised and adopted by merchants and traders and which either in its simplictiy or as modified by common law or statutes, constitutes the law for the regulation of their transactions and the solution for their controversies. The uniform commercial code is the general body of law governing commercial or mercantile transactions.
