A branch of engineering conerned with the location and evalution of coal and mineral deposits, survey of mining areas. The layout and equipment of mines, the supervision of mining operations. And the cleaning, sizing and dressing of the product.

MINING MACHINERY (DIP/DEG/PG)

This deals with design, manufacture of mining machinery required mining operation.

OPEN CAST MINING (DEG/PG)

Open cast mining is adopted in certain situation where this is a necessity. It invoives digging of land instead of tunneling.
