PHARMACY (DIP)
PHARMACY – The science and art that deals with the collection, preparation and standardization of drugs and is concerned with the cultivation of plants used for drugs, the synthesis fo chemical compounds having medicinal value and the analysis and the standardization of medicines.

PHARMACEUTICS (DEG / PG)
Pharmacist compound and dispense medicines and drugs as directed by prescription orders written by licensed physicians, dentists and they also act as pharmaceutical consultants for health practitioners and the general public and keep records on the drugs and medicines dispensed to patients.

PHARMACOGNOSY (DIP / PG)
Pharmacognists play an important role in science by studying the effects of drugs, chemicals and other materials on humans and animals.These specalists do reasearch on the effects of drugs and other substances on living organs and tissues and on the vital life processes of humans and animals.

Pharmacist advise the public on the proper selection and use of medicines.In addition to providing information, pharmacists dispense drugs and medicines prescribed by health practitioners, such as Physicians, Pediatrists and Dentists.
