APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY (PG)

Psychologists – The use of findings and methods of scientific psychology in solving problems of human behaviour.

INDUSTRIAL PSYCHOLOGY (DIP)

Psychology such problems of industry as personnel solution, training and efficiency.

PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES (DEG)

Psychologist activities may be as varied as teaching, counselling, research work or administration but basically they attempt to understand people, their capacities, traits and behaviour and to explain their needs.

PSYCHOLOGY (DEG / PG / Ph.D)

The science of the function of the mind and the behaviour of an organism, both animal and human, in relation to its environment.The scientific discipline that deals with behaviour in man and animals.It covers perceptual function, motivation, emotion, learning and thinking.Major specalities include clinical, psychological and experimental and industrial psychlology.

Industrial psychologists apply psychological techniques to personnel administration, management and marketing problems.They are involved in policy planning, planning, applicant screening, training and development, psychological test research, counselling and organisational development and analysis, among other activities.

PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (DIP)

Application of the concepts and methods of experimental, clinical and social psychology to industry.The primary concern of industrial psychology is the with basic relations in industry between men and men, men and machines, men and organisation.
