Their work also involves the maintenance and repair of the project. Skills Required

A civil engineer needs to have a sharp, analytical and practical mind and give attention to detail. A civil engineer needs to be a team player willing to work with different kinds of people. Extremely good communication skills are required to deal with high level officials and at the same time with construction workers. Knowledge about surveying methods and environmental issues could help a great deal. One must have skill would be good technical designing knowledge. Computer knowledge on some basic softwares for design and construction would be very helpful.

Eligibility

Eligibility for B.Tech / B.E courses is 10 + 2 with Science. Selection will be based on your marks in science in the +2 examination coupled with your score in a state based CET Examination which would give you a specific rank and depending on the rank colleges admit you. Duration of the course is 4 years. You can sign up for  Diploma courses after your 10th grade.
