Course : Five year BS-MS dual degree program.

Scholarship : BS-MS students are eligible for a monthly scholarship of Rs. 5000/-
Selection Process :
- Admission to IISERs is based on the total number of available seats as per.
- Ranking in JEE (Advanced 2015). (Upto 10000 rank in case of General Category, for details See JEE (Advanced) Cut-off ).
- Merit in the Aptitude test for the SCB stream conducted by IISERs.

Total available seats is 1000 for all IISERs put together.

The Institute will make use of the merit lists of existing highly competitive national level entrance exams such as KVPY, IIT-JEE (Main and Advanced) and AIPMT.
Students desirous of applying to the Bachelor of Science (Research) Program must take at least one of the above examinations.
